About Us
Our Roots: A Story of Heart and Hope
It was back in 1983, when a simple idea took root—to give children from all walks of life a real chance at learning and education. That vision gave birth to Lokmanya Tilak Jankalyan Shikshan Sanstha (LTJSS) in Nagpur, a leading educational institution Group of Vidarbha in Central India.
Inspired by the magnanimous Indian educationist Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak, LTJSS was founded on his abiding belief that education is the cornerstone of social reform and national progress. The Sanstha’s guiding philosophy—to educate, empower, and elevate—was brought to life by its visionary founder and chairman, Dr. Satish Chaturvedi, former Minister of Textile and Labour in the Government of Maharashtra. It all started in 1990 with the establishment of Priyadarshini College of Engineering and Pallavi Diploma College of Education, marking the Sanstha’s first step toward shaping a brighter, educated India.
From those early beginnings, LTJSS has flourished into a vast educational network of 27 institutes, spanning from pre-primary to advanced professional education. Today, it touches the lives of over 15,000 students every year, nurturing not just intellect but also self-discipline, confidence, and purpose. The Sanstha continues to embody Tilak’s vision by adopting modern educational practices while preserving the timeless values that define our culture.
At the heart of this educational ecosystem stands Priyadarshini Nagpur Public School (PNPS)—a place where learning begins with curiosity and grows into lifelong wisdom. Seamlessly blending our Educare preschool with classes up to X, PNPS represents the perfect fusion of tradition and innovation.
